Location:

To be based at 28 Park Square West, Leeds, LS1 2PQ

 

Your normal duties will be as required by your line manager to support the operation of the PAdealing department

 

The Company may at any time transfer the candidate to any part of its business, or require you to do alternative or additional duties, if this is reasonably required for the purpose of its business

 

You will be responsible to the Dealing Manager

 

Hours start: 7.30am/8.00am

 

Duties:

Execute orders (Equity, Unit Trust, Options) at best price in line with regulatory guidelines via internet or phone

 

Establish and maintain good working relations with market makers and other stock market participants

 

Liaise with other departments, including Back Office and Compliance

 

Resolve dealing queries, cash queries, corporate action enquiries and perform reconciliation work

 

Deal with both internal and external clients in a professional manner, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times

 

Maintain an up to date knowledge of market issues and anticipate orders by reading relevant publications and speaking to market makers on a daily basis

 

Skills Set:

FSA Registered person with at least 6 months experience as a dealer

 

Previous relevant securities industry experience

 

Have a working knowledge of market data applications and platforms e.g. Proquote, Fidessa

 

Knowledge and understanding in Unit Trust & Options dealing.
