Registrars
Help with this page
A company’s Registrar administers it’s list of shareholders as well as providing other complimentary services. They are able to inform you about any changes made to your shareholding, when you bought or transferred stock and help you with replacing lost certificates or statements. The Registrar also administers a company’s dividend payments and will send you information regarding the Annual General Meetings.
If you hold shares in your own name, rather than in a Nominee account, it can save you time to contact the Registrar directly if you have questions relating to your holding in a particular company. Each Registrar operates an online portfolio valuation and administration service which can be accessed through their websites.
